Moorland Boarding School and Day School
  Moorland School

Outside the classroom

Your child will live and work withina small community of young people, sharing experiences and learning from others. Throughout their school career, experienced staff will look after their welfare and maximise your child's potential. Moorland provides boarders and day pupils with a wide range of activities to complement the academic programme. Games facilities include two large sports fields and a recently built sports hall. Boarders are encouraged to take an active interest in art and culture including theatre, drama, concerts, literature and television.

Moorland is currently developing a mountain bike track around the school's perimeter.

Clitheroe is surrounded by beautiful coutryside and picturesque villages.

The picture above shows the River Ribble passing under Brungerley Bridge. It was taken from the Brungerley Park nature walk which is adjacent to the School.
