Seeing our students as an extension of our own family is paramount in the levels of success and happiness we deliver. We understand that every child is unique and this should be reflected in their learning journey. We prepare our students academically and socially in preparation for successful and fulfilling lives.

As a non-selective independent school, we enrol children based upon their behaviour which allows us to ensure that all children learn in a happy environment.
Children are fully assessed when they join Moorland to help us identify any educational differences or special requirements for individual learning styles. We also aim to identify all areas of strength within students. This allows us to deliver teaching that allows each student to reach their academic potential.

🌊 What an adventure by the River Ribble! 🐟💦
Our Key Stage 2 had an amazing day exploring the river, spotting wildlife, and learning all about the life cycles of mayflies and trout! 🪶🐠
There were lots of games, teamwork and hands-on fun as we discovered how rivers are full of life.
Back at school, we continued with more exciting activities to explore life cycles and migration - a fact filled day 🐠 🎣 ✨

🐒🐘🐯Our incredible trip to the Zoo!! 🐯🐘🐒
Our day began with an exciting habitats workshop, where our wonderful children discovered how animals live and survive in their unique environments. 🌍💚
Afterwards, we explored the zoo - spotting majestic lions, cheeky monkeys and even meeting the adorable new baby elephant! 🐒🐘
The children were amazed watching the penguin show and the sea lions splash and perform their clever tricks! 🐧💦
We then used our map-reading skills to find our way around the zoo, just like real explorers! 🗺️
✨ The children worked together to navigate from one animal to the next!
The most wonderful day was had by all! 💛

Be Confident in Choosing Your Child's Education
We believe every child has the right to a high standard of education which is why we are academically non-selective. We select students based on their behaviour and personal attributes and combine this with a dedicated teaching and pastoral team. We strive to educate your child to the highest academic level, whilst ensuring they stay grounded.
We want you to feel confident in choosing Moorland to educate your child, which is why we operate an ‘open door’ policy with regard to parental visits. Our dedication to education is reflected in our students’ success.
