Fencing At Moorland
Fencing is a combat sport renowned for raising self-confidence and self-discipline
and is an excellent way to keep fit and healthy. Our new fencing lessons will
be directed by Robert Kiss, Hungarian Olympic Fencer of the British
Fencing Association. Children who successfully complete the course will be awarded
a Certificate of Achievement and will have a chance to take part in the "Knight
Awards" fencing competition.
The fencing lessons will be on Wednesday evenings from 4 pm onwards
at Moorland school and are open to all year 4, 5 and 6 children from any school
in the area.
Children who do not attend Moorland School
must apply in advance by email, giving your name, address and telephone number.
We will notify you if a place is available. Please note we cannot include children
who turn up on the night without a confirmed place.
