January 2011 : Rotary Debating Competition Winners

Two teams from Moorland School entered the annual competition at Brookside Primary School in Clitheroe. Highly contested every year, this year Moorland School came away victors. The senior competition was won by three of our Year 11 students. The title of their talk was ' Can we afford to have children?'. The judges were won over by our team, who will be soon going on to the next heat of the competition.

January 2011 : Visit to the National Media Museum

Our students visited the entertaining museum in Bradford. Children from years 7 to 10 enjoyed the educational treat, which included photo galleries, interactive news and weather casting and a trip to the in house IMAX cinema to watch an educational film in 3D.

October 2010 : Does your child come home happy ?
